The ceramics studio at Studio Arts utilizes low-fire stoneware clay and glazes. Students learned how to make both functional ceramic pieces and decorative sculptures. I operated the kilns for the whole studio while I was still there, and helped teach other educators how to use it. We also would design projects where students could experiment with drawing and painting works that bridged the gap between 2D and 3D space.
